The best time to visit Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is from October to June. Here’s a breakdown of the seasons:
Winter (October to February): This is the most pleasant time to visit, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F). The weather is cool and comfortable for safaris, and the lush post-monsoon greenery provides a beautiful backdrop for wildlife viewing.
Summer (March to June): While temperatures can soar to between 35°C and 45°C (95°F to 113°F), this season offers the best chances of spotting tigers and other wildlife. Animals tend to gather around water sources, making them easier to see. Early morning and late afternoon safaris are recommended to avoid the intense midday heat.
Monsoon (July to September): The reserve remains closed during the monsoon season to allow for regeneration and maintenance. Heavy rains can make the area inaccessible and safaris are not conducted during this period. The parks re-open on 1st October.
